British songstress Birdy delivers her music with such emotive power and
heartfelt conviction that it's hard to believe that she's only 15 years old.
Birdy rose to fame in Europe with her reinterpretation of Bon Iver's "Skinny
Love" that flew to the top of the charts and firmly established Birdy as the
next big singer/songwriter talent to watch.
A good example of Birdy's vocal finesse is her deeply moving live performance
of "I'll Never Forget You" that that you can watch exclusively here on
ArjanWrites.com. The song was originally performed by Francis and The Lights
and appeared on the group's 2007 "Striking" EP.
After the success of "Skinny Love" in Europe, Birdy teamed up with producers
Rich Costey (Muse, TV On The Radio), James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, The Klaxons)
and Jim Abbiss (Adele, Arctic Monkeys) in London and Los Angeles to compile
her self-titled debut album. "Birdy" was first released in Europe late last
year and will be available in the U.S. on March 20 through Warner Bros
