Um... well, Charles X was deposed and Louis-Philippe was elected as the new King of France during the July Revolt. Charles X was the younger brother of Louis XVIII, and was far more conservative than his younger brother. Where Louis XVIII understood that his position was a delicate one, Charles didn't feel that way and paid the price.
